Crochet craze carries on
We've loved getting you 'hooked' on crochet. From beginners to next step, you've swarmed to our crochet classes. A new addition to the crochet classes was Amigurumi-style crochet,amigurumi crochet penguin

and we're looking forward to lots more in 2017, including crocheted cacti!


Chorlton Arts Festival Exhibition
We created a window display to inspire crafting
for wellbeing, called Release Your Creative Beast.


 Busiest day at the till
Saturday 17 December saw our highest number of sales through the till. For a shop with lots of low cost stock items, the Christmas period helps pay the bills, so a big thank you to you all for your custom!

  Masks of Mystery & Imagination
  Thank you to everyone - over 150! - who joined our  mask decorating competition for Chorlton Book Festival.   They looked amazing, and even a little scary, in our    
  window display.

 Worldwide Knit in Public Day
We enjoyed joining this event again, theming ours with knitting Twiddlemuffs. Local councillor John Hacking even dropped by to learn to knit. Find out more about these comforting muffs for people with dementia.
